Class Duration: Half & Full Day

Course Summary:

In this Maker's Series camp, students will build their own computer and learn programming too. Using a PIPER kit, each student will build their computer and then learn from a PI based curriculum. The computer will be yours to keep* after camp ends so you continue to use. Throughout the course students will:

  • Build a computer.
  • Play Minecrat: Pi
  • Learn Programming
  • Invent gadgets
  • Create & print 3D odjects.

* - Materials Fee includes cost of Piper Computer kit that is required for course. The computer is the student's to keep. All computers are fully workable computers that students can use beyond a classroom setting. Due to time constarints, there is a limit to the size of 3D objects.

Course Details:

Students will build their own computer (to keep) following PIPER instructions. After building their computer, students will then learn programming using a PI based curriculum featuring Minecraft. The computer is fully functional is purchased through the course materials fee. The camp features other gadgets and explores more functions such as 3D printing capabilities.
